Heart Shrine Relic Tour

display

October 3 - 5, 2008
Doane Stuart School
Albany, NY

Albany KTC is both excited and incredibly fortunate to be hosting the Maitreya Project Heart Shrine Relic Tour. This rare and precious collection of more than 1,000 sacred Buddhist relics of great Buddhist masters has traveled throughout the world since 2001.

Visitors often report experiences of inspiration and healing when in the presence of the relics. While some are inspired to pray for world peace and to develop their inner wisdom, others are overcome by emotion as the powerful effects of the relics open their hearts to compassion and loving-kindness.

This event is free of charge, and will take place in the parlors at Doane Stuart School. On Friday October 3 at 7-8 pm there will be an inter-faith opening ceremony, after which there will be general viewing by the public. On Saturday and Sunday the relics may be viewed from 10 am to 7 pm.
